Conceptual phase

Each collection starts with a concept. We create that concept using a combination of your distinctive customer profile and our trend forecast research. If your concept already exists, we’ll guide you through the process of refining your mood boards and establishing the finalised brief which will serve as the foundation for your market ready collection.

Creative planning

The creative planning phase relies on the foundational concept set out by the brief. With the parameters defined in the brief, the designer can play around with various design elements to present rough design proposals and ideas. The designs then get adapted based on feedback from the client. Once the final collection items are decided on, a last round of refinement ensures diligently-crafted and properly thought-through designs.

Technical strategy

A handsome design can not be adequately produced without the implementation of a rigorous technical process. This includes technical drawings, specification sheets, tech packs and cutting patterns. In order to fulfil the technical requirements, there are many variables that need to be taken into consideration. Each manufacturer has their own list of conditions, each garment comes with its own challenges and each brand has its own goals. The technical process, though less exciting, should be regarded as arguably one of the most important factor in a collection’s success.
